Monastic hospitality is offered to low income elderly and handicapped person at Benetwood. Located on property adjacent to the monastery, the low-rise, 75 apartment building is a government subsidized non-profit facility administered by the community.

But Benetwood offers more than a safe and secure home to its residents. Efforts to extend and build Benedictine community are everywhere-- in the artistic surroundings, the resident’s gardens, the planned and spontaneous celebrations, the friendships formed, and the individual care given each resident by the sister staff.
