Chapter 7 - Twelfth Step of Humility

The twelfth step of humility is that we always manifest humility in our bearing no less than in our hearts, so that it is evident at the Opus Dei, in the oratory, the monastery or in the garden, on a journey or in the field, or anywhere else. (RB 7:62-63)

Do I have as a life-goal the desire for unity with God and integration with all people that will be reflected in the way I behave not only at prayer, but at work, at home and away from home, every day, each day?

No matter where I am or what I am doing, I stand in the presence of God.

The spiritual journey that Benedict describes helps one to become transparent:
no longer drawing attention to self but pointing toward God.
