Enrichment Series at Mount Saint Benedict Monastery.

Throughout history monasteries have been renowned as centers of learning and culture. Study is reverenced as a means of enlarging the mind and the heart. Benedictines are committed to ongoing education. In an effort to grow in knowledge and understanding and to stay informed about current issues, the Benedictine Sisters of Erie launched an Enrichment Series in May, 2012.

The second lecture is scheduled for Wednesday, July 18, 7:00 p.m., at Mount Saint Benedict Monastery, 6101 East Lake Road. Sister Joan Chittister, OSB will explore the topic: Understanding Islam: Is what they say about Islam true?
