Let Community Days Begin

Last evening we began our annual community days with a celebration of our Jubilarians - 60 and 70 years of monastic life - each sister truly a gift and a blessing. During the prayer we experienced a reflective reading interspersed with the refrain of the song The God Of All Grace by Ricky Manalo (OCP). Thought you might find it inspirational too.

The God of all grace has blessed us this day,
all of creation joins us in praise;
lifting our voices, lifting our hearts to the glory of God forever.
(Ricky Manalo)

If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy,
if a blade of grass springing up in the fields
has power to move you,
if the simple things of nature have a message that you
understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.
(Eleanora Duse)

The only way to live
is to accept each minute as an unrepeatable miracle,
which is exactly what it is: a miracle and unrepeatable.
(Storm Jameson)

The God of all grace has blessed us this day,
all of creation joins us in praise;
lifting our voices, lifting our hearts to the glory of God forever.

Life is full of beauty. Notice it.
Notice the bumblebee, the small child, and the smiling faces.
Smell the rain, and feel the wind.
Live your life to the fullest potential.
(Ashley Smith)

Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard.
Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh.
Choose with no regret. Appreciate one another.
Continue to learn. Do what you love.
Live as if this is all there is.
(Mary Ann Radmacher)
