The annual Erie city clean up, where residents are able to place one large item in their trash pick up, is the Erie City Give Away from my perspective. Travelling home from work, I spotted a dresser at the curb. Immediately I saw that it would make a great TV stand. A bit of paint, including faux sponging of the top, new hardware, shelves to replace 2 drawers for use for the DVD and cable box and I had a unique and functional piece of furniture. The drawers are great for storage. I have added a photo of my up cycled dresser. If only I had thought to take a "before" picture, it would have had greater impact.
