Art & Sole raises funds for NAH

Art & Sole

More than 200 runners and walkers took part in the 4th annual Inner-city Neighborhood Art House Art & Sole 5K fundraiser on May 14. Children who participate in Art House programs and their families were among those who walked and ran the course through downtown Erie. Art pieces by the children were the prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in each category: male and female; runners and walkers; and 11 age categories.

The overall first-place finishers were: (runners)
Men – Dionisio Montagna of Erie 18:13
Women – Shannon Morton of Erie 21:11

Men – Tom Le Beau of Lancaster, NY 35:17
Women – Mary Hembrow-Snyder of Erie 41:36

A total of 28 sponsors, including major sponsor Lincoln Metal Processing, helped make the event possible. Local grocery stores donated refreshments for particpants
