Benetwood celebrates 30th anniversary
On September 8, Benetwood Apartments, a ministry of the Benedictine Sisters, celebrated its 30th Anniversary of being "home" to low income seniors or mobility impaired individuals. To mark the event, the Benetwood Staff and Board served a pancake dinner to all of the residents. Following dinner, everyone engaged in a lively game of bingo. The generosity of local vendors allowed the winners to receive great prizes. The Recreation Area was filled with laughter and excitement as over 80 people spent the evening together, sharing stories, eating, and enjoying one another's friendship.
