NAH Spring Open House
Young musicians, poets, singers, dancers and artists at the Inner-city Neighborhood Art House shared their talents with a full house of family and friends at the Spring Open House on Thursday, May 12.
The Art House became a gallery with artwork-laden walls: works in fiber, clay, mosaic, paint and more created by the children during the most recent session were proudly displayed. The largest room in the building was transformed into a mini-theater complete with stage and sound system where emcee Sister Margaret Ann Pilewski, program director at the Art House, introduced each group of young performers, including Maria Samusenko, who began taking classes at the Art House when she was seven years old and will go to Gannon University this fall.
