Relay for Life: 19 Years and Counting!

For the 19th year Benedictine Sisters, Oblates, family and friends participated in the annual RELAY FOR LIFE at Gus Anderson Field, McDowell High School, Millcreek, July 13-14. Sister Dianne Sabol, OSB, in her 16th year as team captain, is appreciative of all the donations in support of this important event that honors cancer survivors, pays tribute to the lives lost to the disease, and raises money to help in the ongoing search for a cure.

Team Benedictine raised more than $13,000 and was the top fundraiser of this year’s event. Thank you to all who gave their support through generous donations, presence and prayer!

Our Reason to Relay

We believe we can make a difference by teaming up to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

We believe that raising money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer and more birthdays is important.

We believe that saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, and one dollar at a time.

We believe the impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone!
