Books by Sister Joan Chittister recently won three Catholic Press Association (CPA) Awards for 2012. The awards were announced in late June at the annual Catholic Press Association’s “Catholic Media Conference” held in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Monastery of the Heart: An Invitation to a Meaningful Life (Blue Bridge) won First Place in the category Best Book by a Small Publisher. In the Spirituality Hardcover category, The Monastery of the Heart received Second Place and Happiness (Eerdmans) was acknowledged with an Honorable Mention.
