Emmaus Soup Kitchen celebrated its annual Thanksgiving dinner and offered food and Benedictine hospitality to dining room filled with guests. As they served more than250 meals, Sister Mary Miller, director, along with the staff and volunteers, showed once again that “A warm smile is the universal language of kindness” (William Arthur Ward).

In addition, the annual Thanksgiving Basket Give-Away provided the makings of a traditional dinner. This year the baskets of food were distributed on a cold, clear day and the warmth of care was extended to 120 Emmaus families.
