Sister Dina Lauricella, Scholastic

Sister Dina Lauricella, a former motorcycle safety instruction from Lusby, MD, made her first monastic profession on the eve of Pentecost, June 3, 2017. After expressing her desire to continue to seek God with the Benedictine Sisters of Erie, she professed the vows of stability, obedience and fidelity to the monastic way of life. She signed her vow papers, a commitment for three years, and received the community pin. During her time as a scholastic, she will continue her study of the monastic way of life accompanied by Sister Diane Rabe, Scholastic Director, while taking full time ministry. Sister Dina is presently engaged in ministry at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie.
