August Silent Peace Walk

August 30 at 6:00 pm

Silent Peace Walks promote inner peace which does away with fear, divisions and hatred and brings about peace and unity in the world. It begins with a peace poem, a walk in silence, single file for 20 minutes and ends with a peace poem and chant.

August’s 30th Silent Peace Walk is the first anniversary of these monthly walks, initiated in response to the escalating tensions and divisiveness present in our country and our world.

We will gather in the playground area for a cookout at 6:00 pm.

At 7:00 pm the Silent Peace Walk will begin around the Benedictine Block. This block has been the home of the Benedictine Sisters of Erie for over 160 years and was the site of our first Silent Peace Walk one year ago.
