Silent Peace Walk

October 24 at 7:00 pm

Silent Peace Walks promote inner peace which does away with fear, divisions, and hatred, and brings about peace and unity in the world. We begin with a peace poem, walk single file in silence for 20 minutes, and end with a peace poem and chant. All are welcome to join this simple, public nonviolent action for peace.

The October 24 Silent Peace Walk will begin at
the Greyhound Station,
208 East Bayfront Parkway, Erie, PA.

The US Border Patrol often boards Greyhound buses, questioning passengers. We will silently walk beginning and ending at the Intermodal Center, aware of the fear and uncertainty that New Americans and people of color especially experience as they travel.

This event is sponsored by Benedictines for Peace.

All are welcome to join these simple, public nonviolent actions for peace.
