Jennifer Koo, Postulant

Jennifer Koo began the postulancy on Sunday, January 13, 2019. In her words, “I have been on this journey of discerning a vocation for the past three years. I came to visit and sensed that this is the life that is pleasing to God, and this is the place where God is leading me to continue my search for God.”

Postulancy is the first phase of monastic formation. Jennifer, an accountant and business owner from Singapore, will participate fully in community and live the communal life of prayer and ministry with the Benedictine Sisters of Erie. She will learn community history, vision and values and have classes on Benedictine spirituality as she continues to discern her vocation guided by Sister Stephanie Schmidt, Postualnt Director.
