Are you looking for a place where others are trying to balance the spoken word and silence, ministry and holy leisure, study and the arts? We might be just the right group for you. Consider looking closer at our community.

Here is what Kaley had to say about her experience here at the monastery:
Praying with the community was a very interesting experience. I come from a family where we went to church once a week, and even then we didn't really participate with the community. It felt all wrong singing with others and reading out loud. But after a day or two, I got used to it and rather enjoyed it. I think that my favorite part of the communal prayer was the silence, which is funny because it was what I didn't think I was going to like. I liked it because it was just enough personal time to reflect on your day and week. Overall, the silence and quietness was one of my favorite things about my time at the monastery. The real world is way too loud.
