Archivists meet at Mount St. Benedict during Archives Month

Archivists for Congregations of Women Religious from Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania (OH-PENN) recently met for their autumn meeting at Mount Saint Benedict Monastery. The gathering was hosted by Sister Theresa Zoky, archivist for the Erie Benedictines, and Sister Janet Goetz, archives assistant. “We had an informative and lively meeting and a delicious lunch,” said Sister Theresa. “The visiting archivists then toured the Monastery archives. It was a wonderful opportunity for Sister Janet and me to share the archival work we do.”

The group meets twice a year, gathering at the different religious houses to share ideas, enjoy each other’s company, and experience a variety of archival settings.
