The spirit of Christmas joy could be felt, even at a social distance, during Emmaus Soup Kitchen’s annual Christmas dinner on Friday evening. A special meal, including stuffed chicken as the entree, also featured a gift giveaway as the cherry-on-top. Guests received fleece-lined hooded sweatshirts, calendars for the new year, Christmas ornaments, children’s blankets for families and even Matchbox cars for kids.
