Community of Life and Hope 2019

Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Philippians 4:6

Every year we invite you to join us in prayer during the month of November. It is a time when we come together as an extended Benedictine family to support each other in prayer. Whether it’s for our deceased loved ones, a dear friend, or ourselves who need prayers, on November 1 and 2, All Saints and All Souls Days, we celebrate and commemorate the saints in our own lives, both living and dead.

All of us need prayer. The world right now needs a great deal of prayer. Those at our borders fleeing for their lives need constant prayers. Our political leaders require the grace of God to bring a country divided back together… so please join with us to pray for both the living and deceased, especially those who may have no one to pray for them.

Click here to go to our secure online form and send us the names of those for whom you would like us to pray. You can also click here to print a PDF version of this letter with a mail in form. Simply complete the form and return it to us via regular mail. All of your names and intentions will be placed in the chapel and be remembered everyday by the entire community. Also, a Sister will include your specific intentions and loved ones in her own daily prayer.

Join us for A SPECIAL Mass on the Feast of Christ the King at the monastery, Sunday, November 24 at 9:30 a.m., followed by coffee and breads.

In gratitude,
Anne Wambach, OSB, Prioress
