Enrichment Series: Wednesday, June 26

In a world of fake news, real disaster, and international political turmoil, why should we care about poetry? Perhaps because (along with silence) poetry is God’s language. After a brief reflection on the critical importance of poetry and language in times like these, Bonnie Thurston will read from her own poetry of protest and prayer. There will be time for Q & A and discussion of the poems.
