LCWR Social Media Campaign—Standing Against Racism—April 24

To say that black lives matter is not to say that all lives don’t matter. To use St. Paul’s metaphor, it is to say that one part of the body is in pain and needs the attention of the whole body. It is to say that the whole body is not functioning, because the body is suffering from the disease of racism and white supremacy. That disease does not just impact people of color. It impacts the whole body. – Heidi Russell, 2018 LCWR Keynote Address
