Maintenance Move-over Make-Over a success

The maintenance room has undergone a move-over and make-over and today was the open house. The paint room is now the office and the office now the paint room but today it was a party room—set up and decorated by Sister Helen Heher and sporting coffee and donuts and the best ever home-made cookies baked by Gary Good, head of maintenance. Sisters and staff flocked downstairs to see the renovated space, hear about the improvements and enjoy the treats. “We are blessed with the best,” said Sister Charles Marie, Director of Physical Resources. “Gary Good, Dan Welch and Jim Steenburgh work as a team and do more than anyone could ask or imagine.” Sister Anne Wambach, prioress, added: “I second that wholeheartedly. I am glad the staff suggested and carried through the improvements that made their dream a reality. It’s a great space for an equally great staff.”

The open house also included a walk-through of Anselm’s Attic—a storage place for furniture donations, carpet remnants, lamps, etc. “We worked together to clean up and reorganize this space,” said Gary. “We’re pleased with it and will continue to maintain the organization.”

Congratulations, everyone, on a job well done!
