PNC Keeps Erie Children Warm with New Winter Coats

Preschoolers from St. Benedict Child Development Center and the Migrant Head Start Program exchanged costumes for winter coats, a gift from PNC Bank.

This is the seventh year that the PNC Foundation has partnered with “Operation Warm” to provide the needy children of Erie with winter coats. With the change of temperature and the realization that winter is definitely on the way, these new coats couldn’t have come at a better time.

“We are always grateful to be one of the recipients of this special kindness from PNC,” said Sister Diane Rabe, director of the center. “It’s a blessing for which we will always be grateful.”
