PNC Keeps Erie Children Warm with New Winter Coats

Children from St. Benedict Child Development Center will be a lot warmer this winter thanks to PNC Bank who gifted them with new winter coats, hats and mittens. PNC has partnered with Operation Warm, an organization who has made it their mission to provide brand-new winter coats to children in need, helping improve self-confidence, peer acceptance, school attendance, and overall wellness—because they believe a new winter coat can provide more than just warmth. The partnership provides Erie children in need with winter coats. With the change of temperature and the realization that winter is definitely on the way, these new coats couldn’t’ have come at a better time. “We are always grateful to be one of the recipients of this special kindness from PNC,” said Sister Diane Rabe, director of the center. “It’s a blessing for which we will always be grateful.”
