Thank you for a successful Harvest Fest!

It was a perfect Fall October day – sunny and warm – for the Emmaus Grove Harvest Fest 2017. Tennessee Backporch played music, children roasted marshmallows, friends danced, visitors took tours of the renovated Soup Kitchen and Emmaus Grove: The Erie Urban Farm School, and friends ate and talked.

Over 150 benefactors, guests, volunteers, and staff members of the different Emmaus Ministries were all in attendance at the Harvest Fest.

“Thank you so much for inviting us to celebrate with you all,” said a regular guest of the Soup Kitchen who wandered over to the Harvest Fest because he heard the music playing and smelled hot dogs grilling. “My friends and I wouldn’t have had anything to eat today if you weren’t doing this.”
